Established in 1991, Ivanhoe Estates is a gated, private residential community and is home to some of the most stunning architecture in Lake County. Ensconced in the North Shore Suburban community of Ivanhoe, it includes 88 single family homes and 30 villa homes and is located about 43 miles northwest of the Chicago Loop.
The entrance to the neighborhood is on Illinois State Route 60, about 1 mile west of the intersection of Illinois State Route 176 and Illinois State Routes 60/83.

Ivanhoe Club Golf Course. Ivanhoe Club, a private country club, includes three 9-hole courses as well as swimming, tennis, a massive Fourth of July fireworks display and other family-friendly activities. Ivanhoe Club’s course is widely known amongst golfers, and hosted the PGA’s Rustoleum Golf Tournament from 2017-2019. In addition to our home course,
public golf courses in the area include Countryside, Steeplechase, Pine Meadow, Stonewall Orchard, and White Deer Run.
