Mundelein High School
Mundelein is home to an academic leader within the state, Mundelein High School. MHS is a past winner of the U.S. Department of Education’s prestigious Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence in the past. Since the 2016-2017 academic year, MHS has been home to a $23 million STEM Lab. The school offers both Honors and Advanced Placement classes and approximately 90% of MHS grads continue to post-secondary Institutions.

Carmel Catholic High School
Carmel Catholic High School
Founded in 1962, Carmel Catholic is a nearby co-educational school. A four-time winner of the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence, Carmel Catholic is an excellent potential choice for Ivanhoe Estates residents’ children.
 
Like MHS, Carmel offers both Honors and Advanced Placement classes for its students. Average ACT scores for Carmel Catholic students beat out state averages 25.7 to 24.3. In addition, 99% of Carmel’s graduating seniors continue to post-secondary institutions.
